Mission

The College of Business Administration is a source of premier business, management, and statistics education. The College aims to become regionally recognized as a peer among the good accredited schools of business. The College is committed to achieving excellence in the development, dissemination and application of knowledge about the functioning of private, public and non-profit organizations in a global environment. In pursuing its role, the College is dedicated to creating a collegial and supportive learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.

Objectives

The College of Business Administration has the following main objectives:

  1. developing creative and cutting-edge curricula;
  2. developing programs and activities that bring together the academics, the students, the alumni and the business executives to enhance the integration of business theories and intellectual leadership by recruiting academics who are committed to teaching, research, and services to the community and their professions;
  3. making cooperative relations with the different business community sectors;
  4. preparing business graduates for successful job careers; and
  5. organizing conferences, seminars, and other events related to its fields of inquiry.

 

PROGRAMS

Bachelor of Banking and Finance

Program Mission

The mission of the Banking and Finance program is to prepare its graduates for professional career with large and/or small organizations in the different for profit and/or not-for-profit sectors. The program seeks to produce employable graduates who are creative and able work efficiently in today’s complex business environment

Program Objectives

The goals and objectives of the program are as follows:

  1. Contribute positively to the reputation of the College and the University in the business community;
  2. Prepare students for careers in both the private and the public sectors of the economy;
  3. Provide opportunities for faculty members to conduct research in the areas of Banking and Finance;
  4. Organize and participate in symposia, seminars and conferences for the purposes of advancing knowledge in the fields of Banking and Finance; and
  5. Bridge the gap between theory and practice through faculty participation in training and continuing education programs.

Bachelor in Human Resource Management

Program Mission

The program provides students with knowledge and skills in the areas of project and human resources management that are required for being employable and coping with the fast-paced needs of the different economic sectors. The program offer solid foundations in project and human resources management that make students highly competitive and career oriented when they graduate.

The objectives of the programs are as follows:

  1. Contribute positively to the reputation of the College and the University in the business community.
  2. Prepare students for careers in both the private and the public sectors of the economy;
  3. Offer opportunities to faculty to conduct research in the areas of project and human resources management;
  4. Organize and participate in symposia, seminars, and conferences for the purposes of advancing knowledge in the fields of Project and Human Resources Management; and
  5. Bridge the gap between theory and practice through faculty participation in training and continuing education programs.
